Our Leaders

Pastor Les Ball

When training to be a teacher back in the swinging 60’s Les Ball met two fellow students, Norman & Martin, who made a big impact on him – they were the first ‘real’ Christians he’d met close up and personal! Les soon met Jesus himself and never looked back.

Life took off, especially when Jesus brought Ann into his life. Married at 22, a dad at 24, a pastor at 27. Les loves bringing the Bible alive to people, especially those who think God wouldn’t look twice at them. He is often heard saying ‘Man Alive’, ‘Go for it’, and ‘God don’t make no junk, and He’s not going to start with you’. He has a real heart for the inner city and people in the two thirds world, and is in a three way love affair with India , Congo, and Jamaica !

Based in South London in All Nations Church, Les is recovering from cancer, a severe e-coli infection and the loss of a kidney. Surrounded by the love of his wife, three children, two grandchildren, and the church family, life has never seemed so good to him!

Pastor Paul Ogunyemi

Pastor Paul is much younger than Les! Originally from Nigeria and a background as a building surveyor, Paul joined All Nations in 1990 just after marrying Saint Jo, who is now a consultant doctor at UCH.

As Paul’s family grew, so did he, branching out into housing and urban regeneration. He then felt God’s call to do theological training at Spurgeons College, and joined the church team as associate Pastor in 2007. He supports himself through various business enterprises that all seem to involve buildings (flats, houses, shopping malls, and now sky scrapers) and lots of clocking up air miles.

He is a possibility thinker! He has been driving our redevelopment project and spearheading innovative ways to communicate Gods unchanging Word to a changing world. He has a special gift in advising churches how they could use their land and buildings more effectively for the Kingom

He loves his football, music and leading worship, and has been used to release several beautiful worship songs into the church.

A big man ,with a big heart. A great gift to our church, and the wider church.
