1 Peter 3: 15-16.  Have reverence for Christ in your hearts, and honour him as Lord.  Be ready at all times to answer anyone who ask you to explain the hope you have in you, but do it with gentleness and respect.

Romans 10:17. So then, faith comes from hearing the Good News and people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ. 


For individuals in our congregation living a life with Christ at the center, talking naturally about Jesus as part of their life where they live and in the workplace. Invite men, women and children to know Jesus personally.

Our services being led by leaders empowered by the Holy Spirit to present Christ in a real way, to connect with people, restore, give hope and a life worth living to all. 

As a church reaching out, joining other churches and wider events to make Christ known in order for people to come to faith.

Our Mission Statements 

  • Support and encourage our congregation to live out Jesus in a practical way in their conversations at: home, work, schools, colleges, the supermarket etc.  
  • Train and equip our congregation with the tools, such as being open to the opportunities God provides for them to show others His care and concern, share stories that will stir people’s interest, use relevant language, illustrations and verses.
  • In a practical way to use their skills and gifts to play their part in reaching people for Jesus personally, in the local area and wider afield, through prayers, socials, outreach events, inter church mission and wider events.

Evangelism Strategies and Actions

  • Welcome and immediate follow up of Sunday visitors.
  • Training and equipping – promote and enroll partners on the four week Sharing Jesus Course in November 2013 and February 2014 and ongoing to empower the church and to build the evangelism team.
  • Organise social events encouraging partners to bring family and friends, work colleagues, school/college friends.
  • Join outreach events with other churches through the Rhythm of Mission 2014.
  • Evangelism focus services. Encouraging sharing Jesus and the gospel stories.
  • Respond to the miss-beliefs and issues within the local community through; the local paper, short surveys about beliefs and inquiring about ‘how can we help?’ handed out at the estate/road entrance.
